Hmm..we did role playing haha.. first a role play btw two frend after finishing their exam paper, and the other role playing a conversation btw mother and child.
It was quite comical hearing the conversation.Some quite drastic. Our dear karina tried being the child while bethleen being the mother.
Here's the conversation:
B(mum) : karina,how' was your exam today?K(daughter) : okay lorB: what do you mean by okay?K : can do lah,wont fail la,but i dont think i'll do wellB: how can you say that? i work so hard,pay for your bills and give you everything and now i ask you to work hard study hard also cannot.K: aiya,dont nag at me can.B: its for your own good!K: you dont understand me lor,im so stressedB: you have what stress? you just need to studyK; you got teachers scold you,gangster after school go toilet find you ah?B: i dont have teachers but i have boss scold me whatK: AIYA,mumy,you dont understand me! i want to listen to simple plan,you know what is simple plan anot? you must listen to simple plan then you will understand me okay,you dont understand me,only simple plan understands me. welcome to my life,you understand anot? everybody go crazy,is anybody going to save me?you know anot?Quite extreme rite, so i asked:
C:are u sure you talk like that to your mum?
K:of cos not la. Our conversation btw mum is like this
K's mum: How your paper today
K: ok lo
K's mum: can pass not?
K: think can la
K's mum: need tuition not?
K: dun need
Yup.. yeah, i pray that in the midst of ur exam period you will still press on. That GLOW will walk together, and it is not jsut words but action. In the midst of GLOW meeting today, the reason of the role playing and everything is to let you all experience and understand sometimes we are just like the conversation btw our mum. They just dun seem to understand cos they are not listening. Sometime they do but we also dunno how to react, or they dunno how to talk to us. At times we are just like that too. lets us be senstive ya :) WE are not walking this alone:)
